GROWW Big Tent Meetings will be held bi-monthly – 6 times a year. Each meeting, we’ll highlight different campaigns and our stories and upcoming opportunities so we can make the most of this powerful community we’re building. 

This month we’re hearing from leaders with the All in Favor Campaign who are bringing the 2024 fight to the local level – for school, county, and township boards that represent us and our values. Our school and county boards, town and water commissions, and city councils are often on the front lines of the issues that impact us most: managing and protecting our water, land, social care, kids’ schools, and our housing ordinances and planning.

This fall, we took the time together to ratify OUR first Values, Vision, and Platform. We know where we’re going, and together we can get there.

That’s why we need Big Tent Meetings to create a space where those people can taste the energy, vision, and depth of the community power we are building as a sort of onramp into the organization. That’s why, as we grow as leaders, we need to create safe spaces where we can practice together: as storytellers, facilitators, and changemakers. That’s why we need to create a space where we can get to know each other: talk, laugh, share, listen, connect, and reflect.
