COMMUNITY. POWER. STEWARDSHIP. SOLIDARITY. LISTENING. In 2023, the GROWW Community crafted and ratified the first semi-annual statement of our Values, Vision, and Platform to guide the work we do together and articulate the future we’re fighting for.
GROWW is a nonprofit, 501c4 community organization based in western Wisconsin committed to building power to create the change we all need through community action so that everyone can make ends meet, live with dignity and have a voice in the decisions that impact us.

Quotations
I support an end to gerrymandering. Not only in Wisconsin, but all over the country, and I currently don’t feel as though my representative represent me as a person. I’m very passionate about environmental issues and I don’t feel I get adequate representation in this part of the state.

I absolutely hate being ignored, and my legislator ignores me because he lives in a gerrymandered district, and so I hate gerrymandered districts. I have good ideas. I want the legislator to listen to me and therefore I want them to hold a hearing on redistricting, and not just do it behind closed doors.

We are an organization of ordinary people, of all ages and walks of life, who have come together to tackle issues impacting our families, homes, and communities.
We started organizing together back in 2019 when seven neighbors gathered around a kitchen table on a farm in Pierce County. Since then, we’ve grown in our ranks and scope across Barron, Buffalo, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix in western Wisconsin.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that we all have the power to make a difference when we get organized and step into the public arena.
Through community-led, issue campaigns, we are advancing a long-term agenda to tackle structural barriers that hold us back and creating a future where everyone can lead their best life, have a roof over their head, a meal on the table, and a job that can support a family.

No matter how much money we have or whether we’re white, black or brown, together we’re grounded in the needs and aspirations of our community. Counter Corporate Power with People Power. For too long, our communities have suffered under policies that benefit the wealthy few while draining resources from our neighborhoods, towns, schools, and local governments. We know it doesn’t have to be this way.
