About GROWW

Our Mission:

We build power together to create the change we need for everyone in our communities to make ends meet, live with dignity, and have a voice in shaping the decisions that impact us.

In GROWW we’re building a political home for people across western Wisconsin with the courage to step into the arena and change the way we do politics. Together, we can deliver the change our families need.

We were formed in 2019 when seven neighbors gathered around a kitchen table on a farm in Pierce County. Today, there are hundreds of us. Members across western Wisconsin counties stand united to counter Corporate Power with People Power by organizing right here and taking action on the issues impacting us most.

For too long, big corporations and the uber wealthy have gone unchallenged in our Wisconsin communities. They’re spent decades and millions of dollars to write the rules that drain resources from our neighborhoods, towns, schools, and local governments. We know it doesn’t have to be this way. We are proud to live and work in western Wisconsin. It is the place we call home. We’re from cities, small towns, and rural areas. We are young and old, rich and poor, white, black, and brown. We will not be divided by false narratives that pit us against each other.

As we’ve grown, we’ve established GROWW as a 501(c)4 social welfare organization, governed locally, rooted in each of our own stories and communities, and connected by a shared vision of what’s possible

Together, we are building the political muscle we need to unite people, families and communities across Wisconsin and build prosperity we can all share. GROWW is a practice, a commitment, and a place we can all belong.

GROWW is an independent organization and a vehicle for western Wisconsinites to use and mobilize to make the change we need. As community members, we know best our real problems and the solutions we need.
