“Real Conversations: Our Intervention in the 2026 Midterm Elections” Strategy Meeting

For decades, the ruling class has concentrated wealth and dismantled the institutions ordinary people built to wield our collective power. Their political strategies have exploited our pain by turning anger into fear, fear into division, and division into a weapon aimed at our neighbors instead of the corporations and politicians actually responsible.

Their strategy depends on us staying isolated, divided, and out of the fight.

Our response is simple yet radical: showing up at a stranger’s door with a willingness to listen and see each other.

This summer, GROWW is intervening. We are training volunteers in “deep canvassing”: to knock doors all summer and fall, across western Wisconsin, and have thousands of real conversations with neighbors who have lost faith in the political system.
