GROWW Membership

Become a GROWW Member.

Make a contribution to join your neighbors standing up for our homes and families — winning the change we need.

Let’s build power in western Wisconsin for ordinary people – not special interests. For too long, our communities have had to struggle and penny pinch under policies that benefit the wealthy few while draining resources from our neighborhoods, towns, schools, and local governments. We know it doesn’t have to be this way.

We work with everyone in our community to make change. Member is your best way to counter corporate power with organized people power.

Together, we have the power to forge a new kind of politics.

  • Members will be eligible to vote on and approve GROWW’s Values, Vision, and Platform Statements Proposed by the GROWW Leadership Team.
  • Members will also be eligible to serve on our Board of Directors, the GROWW Leadership Team (Launching in 2025), and/or future Endorsement Committees.
  • Importantly, regardless of membership status we continue to invite all community members to build power with us by leading in our work through GROWW campaigns, trainings, and public actions.

Contribute what is right for your membership! Minimum annual dues are $5/individual or $10/household for every permanent adult resident in your home.

Our GROWW Leadership Team is the governing body responsible for ensuring and articulating our shared vision and values across our campaigns.

GROWW Leadership Team members represent each of our official campaigns and their bases and are typically serving on campaign leadership teams. Explicit responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and proposing amendments to our Vision, Values, and Platform statements for approval by all GROWW Members;
  • Consulting with and Guiding GROWW Staff on questions and issues as they arise;
  • And publicly representing GROWW and GROWW Membership as necessary.

The GROWW Board of Directors serves to oversee the structural and financial mechanics of our organization in order to keep us strong, financially stable, and in compliance with federal and state requirements.

If you set up a recurring contribution, you won’t have to worry about renewing; it will happen automatically!

If you make a one-time membership contribution, renew your membership without it lapsing by making a qualifying membership contribution within a 4 month window around your expiration-date. Contributions received outside that window will not impact your membership status or expiration date.

Contact an organizer if you have questions, and we’ll work to make sure you don’t fall through the cracks.
