DESCRIPTION:Earlier this year\, GROWW and several Pierce County residents filed a legal challenge alongside Midwest Environmental Advocates to contest Ridge Breeze’s proposed expansion in the Town of Salem to become the largest factory farm in Western Wisconsin. The proposed expansion puts our water\, health and homes at risk. Early next year\, that legal challenge will be coming to a head with a hearing in front of a judge. We need as many people there as possible to show our opposition to the expansion. Our water and our homes depend on it. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us on Thursday\, December 4 at 7 pm in Bay City to learn how to make the most of this opportunity. get prepared for the hearing. We will be discussing what to expect at the hearing and how we can turn out everyday people across Western Wisconsin like you to show broad opposition to this reckless expansion.
