Broadband access is coming

There has been a continuous effort to expand broadband internet access in Wisconsin in the past year, especially in the rural parts of Western Wisconsin. Through state-level funding, local broadband services will bring broadband to the towns of Ellsworth, Clifton, River Falls, El Paso, Martell, Hartland, Oak Grove, Kinnickinnic, and Trimbelle. This effort had been highlighted by the River Falls Journal in their article here.

This is fantastic news!!! However, this funding addresses just the tip of the iceberg. There is a strong need for broadband expansion in our county. Only a fraction of the funding available is being used.
