This is a peaceful event and is not a gathering due to COVID.

Some people react to Black Lives Matter by saying, “all lives matter.” This is true but is not the point. “All lives matter” prevents us from recognizing the white privilege endemic to our society; and the structural failures of our socioeconomic systems that are informed by fundamental injustices pertaining to massively unequal distribution of wealth and income, racism and bigotry, and callousness toward the poor. This has become so clear in the face of COVID.
